A Bit About Me
I am a postdoctoral research associate at Brandeis University, working with Dr. Angela Gutchess. To briefly introduce my academic journey, I received my M.A. degree at Yonsei University in South Korea where I investigated the development of social cognition (e.g., theory of mind) from the infancy to late adulthood. After that, I completed my Ph.D. in developmental psychology at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. During my Ph.D. program, I explored the relationship between social cognition and cognitive control across the lifespan. I am particularly interested in aging, so I am currently investigating how social cognitive abilities and behaviors change with age and what factors (including cognitive control and culture) are associated with the age-related change using behavioral and neuroimaging methods. Outside of research, I enjoy playing the piano and organ, watching the classic Disney movies, and having a walk with a coffee.
